Reunite Your High School Class with New Technology from Class Creator
Ann Arbor, MI (PRWEB) January 7, 2008 -- Prepare for a blast from the past. There's a new way to reunite your Classmates online. It's called Class Creator, and it's free.
Whether you graduated 1 year ago, 10 years ago, or even 50 years ago, the key to reuniting your former classmates and renewing old friendships is building a web site of your own.
Isn't building a web site hard? Yes. Well, normally it would be anyway. But new tools have emerged online that make it simple for anybody to develop and run highly functional class web sites with literally no experience or technical skills.
Forget web programming and all the typical jargon that usually goes along with creating a web site. If you can type on a keyboard and use the Internet, then you can make a beautiful web site for your high school graduating class.
Not only can you create a site in minutes, you can create a site that will truly work, getting your classmates on board and keeping them engaged.
So where do you begin? There are several tools out there, but most come with recurring monthly or yearly costs. Charging fees to Classmates will limit participation, so the obvious choice is to utilize a free tool. Check out Class Creator, at http://www.classcreator.com.
Brad Switzer, a 40 year old businessman and Internet Entrepreneur is the brains behind the Class Creator system.
"When I was asked to create a web site for my 20th class reunion, I wanted to make something that was attractive, easy to create, and simple for my classmates to write and enter their own stories," said Switzer.
"Word of the site spread quickly, and in only a few weeks most of our Classmates had posted stories and pictures. People kept returning to the site to see who else had found it, where they were and what they had been doing since graduation."
Switzer says old friendships were renewed quickly. "I began getting emails like 'Thank you so much for creating this site.' 'What a blast from the past!' And 'Thanks for the trip down memory lane.'"
Soon after Switzer launched his own class' site, spouses and friends of his Classmates began contacting him wanting to know how they could get a web site for their own class using the system he had created.
"I knew most people aren't computer wizards, so I set out to create a system that was ultra simple to use. It had to have cutting edge technology behind it. And I wanted it to be free to create and free for Classmates to use," said Switzer.
That's how Class Creator was born ... so every class can create its own unique identity without being burdened by technical or financial limitations.
So what makes Class Creator sites so successful? "Because people are not lumped into a generic system that lacks personality," says Switzer. "It's about their classmates. Their times. Their memories." Classmates enjoy their sites so much they return to them again and again. It's the best way to keep up to date with old friends.
