Albany, New York (PRWEB) November 30, 2007 -- In its 10th Consumer Attitudes Study, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) reports that the country's approval of cosmetic surgery has reached an all-time high, with 62 percent of those responding in favor of cosmetic surgery. One possible reason for the surge in popularity may be that as more and more people elect plastic surgery -- the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) reports over 16,000,000 reconstructive, minimally-invasive and surgical cosmetic procedures in 2006 (a 20 percent increase over 2000's numbers) -- more and more women and men know a friend, family member or co-worker who's "had something done."
These people may or may not yet want or even ultimately need plastic surgery, but they at least want to know more.
